Welcome to the PS3 Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Competition Association!
We appreciate your interest in our website and look forward to enhancing your competitive gaming experience while playing Space Marine (SM). We are a dedicated group of gamers and 40k fans, and only want to see the SM community thrive so that we may all continue to enjoy this spectacular game for as long as possible! It is the intention of the SMCA to migrate in some fashion to be our main communication venue when Eternal Crusade is released.
The representatives for the SMCA are made up of members from the participating Imperial Chapters and Chaos Legions. Any such traditional lines of demarcation are not valid within the cooperative structure of our domain, and are only referenced for the sake of identification. All competitive matters and community rules and standards will be discussed and voted upon by the representatives. These individuals are encouraged to confer with their own troupe to ensure that they represent the overall desires of their respective chapter/legion.
While some of us may be bitter opponents and rivals in-game, those sentiments will be left on the field of battle and not carried-over into the day to day workings of the SMCA. The governance of this syndicate will only apply to internal affairs relating to competition between the various player factions, and to the rules and regulations of this website. Any Chapter/Legion-specific matters will be dealt with separately by the concerned parties, and is not to be broadcasted here. Also, any blatant and irreverent display of poor "sportsmanship” will not be tolerated.
The goals of the SMCA are as follows: • Cultivate interest, and foster competition within the PS3 Space Marine community • Provide a forum for participating groups to have representation for their competitive interests • Establish guidelines and standards for inter-chapter/legion competition • Monitor and post results of officially sanctioned matches • Maintain a ranking/standings system of all participating organizations within the association • Moderate the proceedings of any potential disputes over scores and standings so that a fair resolution can be achieved
Overall, have fun and please respect your peers as you would have them respect you. See you on the battlefield!
